Reckless discharge is when someone recklessly fires a gun and could cause harm to someone. Unlawful discharge is when someone fires a gun unlawfully. This includes hunting without a license, shooting a gun to the sky or shooting in an open field.
The difference between Unlawful and Reckless Discharge is that Reckless is around other people and could potentially harm them. Unlawful just means that you are not in a place where you have the right to fire a gun.
